Fawlty Towers Corporate Entertainment ideas
There are many diverse activities covering corporate events, but typically at meal times, Basil Fawlty and the team would be seen at a reception, working in character, meeting and greeting your guests, and giving the sort of service one would expect from a Top Class Torquay Hotelier. Often assisting with the drinks and canapes. Sometimes, as a warm up, this is all that is required. The performance may continue for dining table entertainment, the same way as a table magician, or cartoonist works, or a surprise start before the meal. Special scripts can be arranged for a custom made "warm up" prior to company presentations etc. All without mentioning the war!....

Fawlty Towers Theme Night
Continuing from the reception above, Basil can formally announce the meal as toastmaster. Manuel then escorts the guests to the tables. Stepping it up a bit more, Basil could appear with the Major's shotgun, and use it to chase Manuels radio controlled rat out of the reception, with a couple of volleys from the gun. This usually cuts across most conversations, and is not the usual protocol for a toastmaster. Neither is setting off an alarm, and yelling "Fire," and have Manuel chasing around with a CO2 fire extinguisher, but it does manage to clear the room! Some 80% of the time is purely interactive table entertainment direcltly with your guests, on a one to one basis. A tray crash entrance just before the main course certainly makes a great first impression, or as an additional great surprise to the event, particularly when you serve up a VIP's head on a plate from a serving trolley. (Sketch lasts appx. 5 mins), so little disruption to the catering staff. A radio controlled rat and shotgun chase at the end of the meal, optionally followed by an all singing and dancing "Manuel & Emmanuel" recruiting competition puts a certain "WOW Factor," and a great finale to the end of a most memorable and fun evening. A little known fact is that "Basil" is quite an accomplished dancer, and as such, would be great to get the party started on the dance floor!

Dear Ed
I wanted to thank you for coming to entertain at our event last night. All our clients had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed your act as John Cleese. Thank you again for assisting in making our evening such a success.
